Each multi-domain certificate considers www.example.com and example.com as two different FQDNs. Both FQDNs need to be included when purchasing the certificate for proper installation.

A PositiveSSL Wildcard SSL certificate issued to *.yourdomain.com is valid for: www.yourdomain.com, secure.yourdomain.com, mail.yourdomain.com, etc. Can be issued in under 15 minutes. Dedicated IP Address - A dedicated IP Address is required if you purchased a SSL certificate and want to integrate it into your 207 Hosts Bronze, Silver, or Gold webhosting package. If you are using the SSL certificate on an external server, then this dedicated IP address is not required. You may need to contact your administrator for help on setting up the SSL certificate on your external server. If you are using a free SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt, cPanel SSL certificate, etc) then the dedicated IP address should not be required. Contact us for your scenario.
